Last Saturday saw the Junior 1,2 and 3 take on Castleknock College at a busy Belvedere Sports Grounds.

The Junior 3 (Army) were comfortable winners, pulling away to a 46-5 victory. The Junior 2nds were involved in a much tighter affair. They depended on their resilience to come away with 21-21 draw in a highly entertaining match. Finally, the Junior 1sts created a substantial number of opportunities in the first half of their match but couldn’t fully convert. They did show character, courage and commitment in etching out a deserved 17-7 victory. A good foundation laid by the Junior sides for the season ahead.

The Senior 1 & 2 visited Belfast to take on RBAI. The 2nds were comfortable winners winning 38-6. The 1sts however lost 10-8 in a tight affair.
